Warranty and Repairs FAQs

No, modifications or splicing of these harnesses will void the warranty on the wiring system.

Yes, it is always advisable to submit photos of any issues you wish to have addressed under warranty. Please send these photos to warranty@cottrelltrailers.com.

The in-service date is the official date your unit was placed into service. If you believe your unit is still under warranty, please contact our warranty department for clarification.

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact our warranty department at 800-827-0132 (Ext. 313 or 301). Ensure you have your VIN number and any relevant photos or information on hand. If the issue qualifies for warranty coverage, we will coordinate with an authorized repair facility or direct you to Cottrell for repair. Repairs at non-authorized centers or without pre-authorization may not be covered.

Warranty repairs can be performed at any of our 100+ authorized repair centers, or you may choose to have them completed at our Gainesville, GA facility. Please refer to our website for a full list of authorized centers.

No, Cottrell does not offer trailers for rent or lease.

New applicants must demonstrate that they have sufficient capability to become an authorized repair center. An onsite visit by Cottrell personnel may be required.
