Cottrell Introduces New Low Lift Aluminum Risers

Over the past several years, we have seen passenger cars and sedans being manufactured with lower ground clearances and longer overhangs. This has had a negative impact on loading and transition angles especially in the tandem axle area. As a result, Cottrell is proud to announce our new Low Lift Aluminum Riser package for the rear of our 6-car trailers. This uniquely engineered design adds clearance to spoilers and air dams while transitioning over the trailer tandem. Although these are not “stackable” risers, Cottrell will be adding this feature to all 6-car Next Gen Stinger trailers. Please contact your sales person for more information.
